Meganet will soon be upgrading our mail system for all customers. The new system, IMAIL, will offer you greater flexibility and robustness – allowing you to manage your email in the most efficient way possible. The IMAIL system brings with it a refreshing user interface, the ability to change your own password, powerful spam scanning, and much more. How does the change affect you? We are aiming for a seamless transition. This means you should not have to change any server settings in your email client or mobile devices. If you use the Meganet webmail web site, the login screen will now appear differently, as will your inbox. FightMySpam (SpamCan) will be discontinued. In effort to streamline our services and improve ease of use, we will be discontinuing FightMySpam.com. Spam scanning will be included on the IMAIL system, eliminating the need for you to log in at a separate website to check trapped spam messages. What will happen to my mail stored on the current server? It may be transferred over to the new IMAIL system via IMAP, and will be accessible on the https://oldmail.meganet.net/ (link not yet active) for up to one year. When is this expected to take place? Our team is aiming to complete the transition by the end of this month. An exact date will be shared with you in the days ahead. Is there any action I need to take? Not at this time. This is just an informational notice. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at email@example.com or by calling 508-646-0030.
